Do you want increased web traffic? Have you tried the Facebook Call To Action button? If you are like many businesses, then you are trying to leverage your Facebook Fan Page to drive people to your website so you can convert them to sales, collect email addresses for your newsletter, or get them to download your newest app. Now Facebook introduced its Call To Action button a couple weeks ago just for that!

Now Page Admins can choose what type of button they would like to have show up on their pages and what functionality they need. Facebook has set up seven pre-made buttons already. “Sign Up,” “Shop Now,” “Contact Us,” “Book Now,” “Use App,” “Watch Video,” and “Play Game” are all options that can be chosen from and they can be linked to any destination of the Admins choosing.

The CTA will show up at a fixed location: the top of your business Page, to the left of the Like button.

The location of the CTA button makes designing your cover photo correctly a little more important. You will need to make sure that the image is not making the button hard to see. The button also shows up on the mobile app so that customers viewing your page on a handheld can get the same experience. Check this new feature out and if you have any success driving engagement or traffic, please share it with us in the comment section.
